Format: 12" Black Vinyl & Digital

Tracks:
a1. Nocturnal
a2. Monocle
b1. Nocturnal (Norman Nodge Remix)

SYS. Sinan Alakus, Yasin Engwer and Steven Siwalette. Three Nijmegen based producers with different backgrounds, but with the same great view on music. Underground techno/dub with great sounddesign, slow tension building drum-patterns and off-beat rhythms. Monocle EP kicks off with 'Nocturnal' on the A-side. A deep pulsating rhythm with some nice dubbed out chord elements builds slowly until the drumbreak hits and lifts the track to a higher level. 'Monocle' has a different approach, it's all about a steady irresistable groove instead of building to a climax. Loose yourself in it's simplicity and get sucked in by the slick
sounddesign happening in the background.. On the flipside we find the remix by Berlin based Norman Nodge. He takes the original feel of 'Norcturnal' and adds a pinch of acid to the mix. A remix perfectly suitable for warm up sets, peaktime dancefloor action or early morning moments..

Cat nr.: ESHU003
Format: 12" Black Vinyl & Digital
Release date: 23rd of July 2012

Tracks:
a1. MM
b1. MM (Echologist dub)
b2. Timeless

ESHU returns on their own imprint with 'Timeless EP’, an EP that features 2 originals and an amazing rework by Brendon Moeller as Echologist. The A-side gives us MM, a 10 minute long funk experience full of summery vibes. A slowbuilding beat gently moves on while beautiful chords start to grow and evolve out of nothing. The 'Echologist Dub’ on the B-side takes the original and adds some thought out drumpatterns, lush chord stabs and tight percussion.

The second track on the B-side called 'Timeless’ is all about getting in the right mood. All it takes is a steady beat, some sharp hats and a couple of hypnotic layered tones and chords to do the work, this is one is for the afterhours.

Tracks:
a1. Mattias Fridell – Denial Of All Reality
a2. Tomas Rubeck – Factions
b1. Myles Serge – E.I.-C.
b2. Imugem Orihasam – Undefined

ESHU Records returns, after a successful first release, with a 4 track EP that shows the many sides of the techno spectrum ESHU Records admires. A various artists EP with music from all over the globe.

First up is Mattias Fridell, who delivers a no nonsense peaktime techno workout with 'Denial Of All Reality'. Swedish DJ/producer Mattias Fridell has been actively involved in the techno scene since the 1990s, inspired early on by EDM and the developing techno movement in Sweden.

Up next, 'Factions' by Tomas Rubeck. A slow paced, dubbed out warehouse groove that will make your head nod for sure! Based in the Midlands of the UK where post industrial decay fringes with an idyllic rural backdrop, it may not be too much of a surprise as to where Tomas takes his lead on inspiration for his music. With an ear for detailed production values his records seem refreshingly different.

The B-side starts with some Detriot madness by Myles Serge. Myles has been putting out some inspiring out of the box techno since a few years now, whether it's with one of his many projects/collaborations (Sergio MF Valente, One Peoples, PNM) or through the labels he runs (6ONE6, RE(FORM), Dosed).

Imugem Orihasam finishes the EP with some classic dubtechno. 'Undefined' slowly builds with beautifully layered chords and pads that gently float over a steady beat. Imugem is really making waves with some well received releases on labels such as Sistrum, Ilian Tape and New Kanada and with more music coming out in the near future 2012 will definitely be Imugem's year!

ESHU - MAAN EP | ESHU001

Artist: ESHU
Title: MAAN EP
Cat nr.: ESHU001
Format: 12" Black Vinyl
Release date: End of December
File under: Experimentel Dub, Techno

Tracks:
A . Lunar Farside
AA. Lunar Farside (Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search Remix)
B . Definitly Lunar

he debut release of Nijmegen’s underground techno collective ESHU on their own imprint ESHU Records. Being different is kind of hard these days, but ESHU is always trying to push boundaries. Known for their uptempo techno sets and slow paced dub excursions, you can expect techno in all shapes and forms. Lunar Farside is a slow tension building space journey with off beat rhythms and some detailed sounddesign. Next up is the Lunar Farside remix. Dimi Angelis and Jeroen Search had some well received releases (on Balans and Smallville to name a few) and their remix takes the original and makes it more suitable for the clubs, with a heavy throbbing bassline and some deep percussion. On the flipside we have Definitely Lunar, a 10 minute trip to the dark side of the moon. Slow paced techno with an attitude.
